I was recently looking for music to use as an intro to my podcasts. We had bought some generic music to use but every time we used it, the creators threatened to sue us. So I told Marvin that I would ask a musician that I knew if I could use one of their songs. I had no one exactly in mind. But this intention set me out on a path to find a useful song to use as an intro.
The next morning, a song came up on my search engine that was sung by an old friend of mine. I thought he was a dear old friend of mine that I knew twenty five years ago. He looked the same to me and I heard the same sincerity in his songs. I wondered why he had changed his name. But that didn’t stop me. Even though it had been so long since we connected, he gave me permission to use this dynamic song that he had just recorded.
The song is called “All My Monsters”. The words say, “all my monsters are willing and able, they lie on the table and ready to receive”. To me these were the sweetest words. They depicted what it takes for someone to come to me for a session. He was so tired and worn out from the process of existing that even the demons that would feed off an individual were exhausted as well and they were ready to move on too. It was as if David wrote this song just for me.
David actually gave me permission to use any of his songs that I wished. The thing is, his music was such an accurate depiction of the anguish of existing, that it was like he harvested all of the most negative aspects of the human experience and collected them in his music. It was genius and masterful. He sang about the pain with such a deep reverence that there wasn’t even a hint of being the victim. There was no drama in his words. There was just the calling out of a soul that is howling out the pain with the intensity and clarity as a lone wolf crying to the moon.
It was in matching up his masterful music with the podcasts of my sessions that I realized what David was doing. He was gathering up all the vibration of anguish that the listener has stored in their energy field. It is then that by listening to my podcast that the listener is able to release all of it. Him and I are working in tandem to release the suffering of the human condition from humanity.
The interesting thing is that he is NOT the friend I knew twenty five years ago. I was mistaken. Or was I? Way back then, I had the fantasy (or vision) to assist my dear friend to become world renowned with his music. I didn’t know how. I wasn’t doing the dynamic energy work at this level back then and I hadn’t written so many books. Also, HE did not want to be famous. It is now that I know that I was seeing my new friend David as the target of my intention to assist his music to be heard. It is a gift to humanity and a powerful means of releasing suffering from the collective.
