Some people are in incredible pain. The pain is so deep and so severe that it doesn’t seem humanly possible for one person to carry it. Those who don’t carry such pain may not be able to relate. This in itself can be invalidating to someone who is suffering.
One who is suffering with such incredible pain may not be carrying just their issues but the collective trauma of all their forefathers. This one client came to me for pain issues. Her session immediately opened up to the traumas of war and being forced to leave your homeland and travel to an unknown place just to try and recreate a sense of home.
This one client’s physical issues related directly to the history of genocide that her Romanian culture endured. She was a victim and survivor of war many times over. But she was carrying a burden of all the souls of her people who were killed without being anointed in death. They felt they could not cross over without such blessing.
In the session, a Romanian Patron Saint came through to give the blessing to all the souls that were displaced at death and did not rest in peace. The agitation this woman felt in her body was their unrest. We were able to give them the last rites that they so desperately needed and ended their purgatory. Their relief was felt in the very atoms if this woman who was a surrogate for all these souls to be freed.
