There are two types of bonds that exist between family members – love bonds and karmic bonds. Karmic bonds are more common.
When we have karmic bonds with family members, it can sometimes feel like we are ‘living amongst the enemy’. This is because family members may well have been enemies in previous lifetimes. Or we may have been enslaved to them – and a similar scenario is now playing out in this life.
In this conversation, we discuss how in many families, there is one individual who stands out as being more loving, more caring, or more conscious. These are the people who are most likely to feel that family life is like living among enemies. They can set themselves free by ceasing to play the ‘only one life game’ in which they feel they have to make it work. Sometimes it just doesn’t work, and the best approach is to cut your losses and find friends in people who resonate with you.
The feeling of abandonment these more conscious individuals can feel when members of their family reject them, is also unnecessary. It is likely the universe is actually blessing them by extracting from their life those people who drain their energy – and setting them free to be even more loving towards all others and all things. When they feel a need for love, they can benefit greatly from spending time in nature, and feeling love pouring into them from the trees.
