The guardian angel within us

What if the guardian angel that we teach children to believe in is their own future self coming to rescue them? Aren’t we at the point in our own understanding of self that we can consciously imagine going to ourselves as a child in our most troubling time and nurture the sweet child that we were?

Everything that we have ever experienced is simultaneously happening to us all at once. Use this simple understanding to go to yourself at different stages of your life and provide the love and support for yourself that you weren’t receiving at the time. Do you remember when you were a baby crying alone begging for someone to come hold you?  Probably not. But there must have been times when your needs were not meant.

Visualizing self-comfort in challenging times

Go to yourself when you were crying alone as a baby. Rock the baby you in your arms and comfort yourself. Remember your first day of school?  Take your little self hand in your present confident self hand and walk with little you into the classroom. Do you remember all those times you were misunderstood?  Dry your own tears and hug it out with your little frustrated self. Allow the tears flow in both versions of you.

We don’t really have to know how the metaphysics of the universe to apply some of our creative imagination in creating a better outcome for ourselves in all moments of our existence. When you imagine loving yourself as a small child and it brings some comfort to the present you, isn’t that evidence of a benefit in using this technique? We are told to love ourselves more but may not know how. The techniques offered here are a means of bypassing the unworthiness we are entrenched in and allow the love to seep in.

In a similar way, do the taps below with the intention of healing deeps wounds, losses and injustices that you were subjected to a long time ago. See if the healing intention offered here give you a sense of ease.  Maybe by doing the taps and visualization offered here you can create a sense of healing within yourself.

SFT taps to rescue the inner child

Say each statement three times out loud while continuously tapping on the top of your head, a fourth time while continuously tapping on your chest, and a fifth time while continuously tapping on your abdomen. Say each statement deliberately. They are not just words but a vibration that you are using to initiate a shift in energy. Pause before the phrase, “in all moments”. Say each phrase in a commanding but even tone. Forgo saying it in a sing song tone, as a laundry list, or with bravado. Don’t skip any sentence that don’t seem to apply. They all apply.

We save the us from the past from guilt and fear; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from the anguish; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from wasting our talents; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from being stuck in a hopeless situation; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from abusing ourselves; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually atrophying; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from feeding any addictions; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from losing our voice; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from hiding from life; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from reliving that fatal day; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from believing the abuser; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from beating up on ourselves; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from lying to ourselves; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from trusting the wrong information; in all moments.

We save the us from the past from ignoring our innate wisdom; in all moments.

We shift the paradigm of us from the past from a reactionary state to listening and adhering to our own innate wisdom; in all moments.

We shift the paradigm of us from the past from deferring to others to keeping our own council; in all moments.

The us from the past is centered and empowered in listening to our own innate wisdom and keeping our own council; in all moments.
